Another BB Cream in the market !! : Vedic Line Plus BB Cream

When MNY BB Cream stormed our blogosphere - It was an instant HIT !! Now that Indian Company - Vedic Line launched their new range of products - Vedic Line Plus which includes BB Cream as one of its products - I HAD TO TEST IT OUT !!!!

Product: Vedic Line Plus BB Cream.

Claims:

This blemish balm cream serves as a foundation for application of make up and protects the skin from UV rays for upto 12 hours. Does not come off easily by sweat or sebum and leaves the skin spotless and wrinkle free.

Usage: 

  

Use it daily, directly or after absorption of Moisturizer, Serum or Essence. For imperfect areas apply extra layer of BB cream.

First Look At the Product: 

The BB Cream comes in a tube packaging - Fuschia color tube with a screw cap - I wish a flip cap opening would have been much easier to deal with . Other than that It’s a travel friendly tube. The consistency of the cream is neither too thick nor too thin with somewhat floral aroma. 

My Experience with the Product: 

The first time I applied the cream - I took too much and it made me look tanned !! The cream has pink undertones which makes my skin look weird if I apply too much of it. 

The texture of the cream is just right - It makes it very easy for application on the face. The next time I applied the BB Cream - I was extra careful and took a teeny pea sized amount of the product and dabbed it onto my entire face. 

The result was a radiant dewy look. I have combination skin type and it manages to stay on my skin for 2-3 hours easily after which it makes my T-Zone look oily.

Right now, This BB Cream comes in one shade only - but its fine as the shade is mostly perfect for Indian skin tones. 

I guess people with oily skinned wont like this BB Cream too much - It will work best for people with dry to combination skin types. 

It does not help in concealing your imperfections at all. It doesnt help in lightening or concealing my dark circles as well. 

This cream does not help much in summers for oily skinned. My T-Zone is very troublesome !! I tried touching it up with matte powder - didnt help ! 

Otherwise, This BB Cream is perfect for people who are blessed with dry skin with less imperfections... Do try it !!!

Nature's Brilliance - Mineral Eyeshadows

I had received samples from this brand some time back .. but was caught in other things hence never got a chance to test them out .... So these beauties were lying in my cupboard for quite some time now and few days back I decided to test them out. After using them for few days here's my take on the products :

My Experience with the product:

I am quite liking their mineral eye-shadows. Their color pay off is good.
The colors stay on for 2-3 hours even without a primer which is very good.
Nature's Brilliance have many colors available - especially if you like shimmery colors. They have few matte colors.

They offer sample sizes too which is great if you wish to try out a particular color.
These eyeshadows blend so easily. Since these are loose pigments you do have a fall- out problem but nothing that you cannot handle.
Mineral Eye-shadows are 100% natural which will suit sensitive skin.

SHADE - COFFEE BEANS - This is a lovely dark brown shade with multi colored shimmer

SHADE - OCEAN BLUE - This is a lovely shimmery blue with multi colored shimmer in it

SHADE - BRILLIANT ORCHID - This is my favorite lilac color. Again this shade is shimmery

SHADE - FUSHIA FANTASY - shimmery lovely and chic pink !!

SHADE - AQUATIC - Matte Sea Green color.

SHADE - FORGET ME NOT - Matte white color - Great for highlighting

SHADE - PRIM ROSE - lovely shimmery hot pink

SHADE - SAPPHIRE - Again my fav - navy blue color with subtle shimmer

SHADE - PEACH SUNSET - MY Absolute favorite coral sunset color

SHADE - COPPER - Nice Copper shade.

SHADE - GOLD ROYALTY - Indeed a royal Gold color.

Auravedic Luxuriant Hand and Body Lotion

I have been using this lotion for two weeks now and I am loving the lotion so far. I am a huge fan of body lotions and butters and love to pamper my skin everyday. You see I have a very weird skin type - Oily - combination skin on the face and Dry skin on the rest of the body. So I can't do without moisturizing my skin everyday.

This lotion comes in a sturdy plastic bottle with a silver screw cap top. The mouth of the bottle is covered and has to be pierced to dispense the lotion.

My Experience :

This lotion is indeed very lightweight and is readily absorbed into the skin. It is non- greasy which is great. I use this lotion everyday after shower and it keeps my skin moisturized and smooth all day long. I love the fact that they have listed all the ingredients. The fragrance is also nice since it has lavender oil in it. The scent is not over-powering and does not linger for a long time. Overall i am quite liking this lotion.

Good Points:
Paraben Free products.
All of Auravedic products are not tested on animals. :)
All of the products do not contain animal product or its by- products (except honey)

Bad Points:
I cant find any bad points about the product except that i really have to squeeze the bottle really hard to dispense the cream. :(
