Handmade soap

Brief Introduction about Nyassa -
Nyassa has its origin in a Sanskrit word that means healing through touch by chanting tantras and mantras. The result. A divine body. But Nyassa is also a dream, our dream, born out of our passion for making natural bath and body products. Ishween Anand, the visionary behind Nyassa, left her cushy finance job in New York to pursue her passion for fragrances in India. She first started selling luxurious bath and body products on weekends at the Atria Mall in Mumbai in April 2007. Her vision was to create a beautiful product that was mild on the skin and left a wonderful lingering fragrance.

It is with this philosophy that Nyassa embarked upon creating aesthetic products in rich textures and sensuous aromas. But for your skin to maintain its youthful vitality, the product also has to work harmoniously with it. And that's why we only use the finest ingredients, keeping them wholesome, pure and natural to the extent possible. Our processes have been learnt from many experts from around the world. The final product is a work of art. Tantalizingly fragrant. Gloriously beautiful. And gentle on the skin. Nyassa's expertise lies in evoking feelings through fragrances. Fond childhood memories. That first romantic kiss. Lying down on the beach. A walk under the starry skies. And many, many more… Reach out to all these special moments. Only with Nyassa.

My Experience with the Product -

The soap bar is a transparent luscious red coloured bar with a green coloured topping.

I absolutely love using this soap. The handmade soap is very aromatic and instantly makes you feeling fresh with its sweet rich aroma.

The soap contains essential oils and contains coconut oil which doesn't extensively dry out your skin. It lathers up very easily.

Nyassa handmade luxury soap

Unlike other handmade soaps which I have tried before, this one doesn't melt easily if you keep it dry after each time you use it in the shower. Its been more than 3 weeks -  I am still using the soap everyday - It has lasted me for quite sometime now without becoming all gooey and soft.

The soap is absolutely a delight to use - it will leave your skin pampered and is completely skin -friendly - it has not given me any break outs or allergic reactions.

Love it or chuck it ?
I absolutely love it ! I am very eager to try out other fragrances that Nyassa has to offer....

Relax Yourself ! : Oriflame's Swedish Spa Exfoliating Massage Bar.

I had picked up few soaps from Oriflame during my first purchase as a consultant. They were lying safely in my cupboard until I noticed them and took out one to see how they were....

I had never tried a Massage Soap Bar before so this was my first time ....Swedish Spa Exfoliating Massage Bar comes in a transparent packaging bag which houses a baby blue soap with brown scrub granules.

I had reviewed Makari 's Exfoliating Soap Bar long time back - Here. This massage bar, however, is quite different than the Makari one... The massage bar doesn't have too many exfoliating granules making it more skin friendly.

The soap is priced at 89 INR for 100 gms. The soap has a very refreshing smell which tends to linger on for a while. The soap is therapeutic - long, smooth strokes on your body will instantly calm your body down and provide relief from stress.

The granules will mildly scrub away dead skin - revealing fresh and smooth skin with constant regular usage.
The soap lathers well and doesn't dry out your skin. I only wish Oriflame comes up with a range of massage bar soaps with different fragrances.

I would recommend this massage bar soap to anyone who wishes to treat themselves with a spa session at home. This product is an inexpensive alternative to exorbitant spa sessions.

Yardley of London Hamper Review

I received Yardley of London Hamper for review purposes. Since its Hot as Hell in mumbai - I use up deodorants in a jiffy..

I am a huge fan of fragrances - Be it Deodorants or perfumes. So reviewing this hamper is going to be fun !!

So Here is the hamper which I will be reviewing today ----

My Experience with the Products:

Yardley of London is such a old brand -- I remember my mom using its talc - Thus the products bring back a fond memory.

Product : Yardley Of London Deodorant - English Lavender
Price: 150 INR  for 150 ml

I absolutely loved the deodorant - The smell of which is floral lavender which is intense and lingers on the whole day.

The fragrance of the deodorant is not over empowering which is good.

The top notes are floral which then settle down to kind of a sweet fragrance.

The deodorant was skin friendly - did not give me any skin irritation at all.

The product is economically priced for the quantity it provides.

I can't find anything wrong with this product-  love this deodorant - I wear it everyday  :)

Product :Yardley Of London Soap -  English Lavender:
Price: 40 INR for 100 gms

This soap comes in a cardboard box packaging and inside the soap is packed in a paper which has the same print as the outer box packing.

The soap is light purple - lavender colour.

The smell of the soap is same as that of lavender deodorant. It is floral and tends to linger on for hours after you use it.

The soap is very skin- friendly. It doesn't dry out your skin and do not cause any skin irritation.

It leaves your skin moisturised after you use it.

The soap is decently priced and lasts you for a long time. It does not melt easily.

I absolutely love using this soap and layering lavender deodorant - so as to lock its floral fragrance which stays with you the whole day.

Makari De Suisse Clarifying Exfoliating Soap

I was so delighted to see this soap. It is so cute and small. I have never used an exfoliating soap before so this was the first time - So after using this for sometime now .. Here's the review. . .

Product: Makari Clarifying Exfoliating Soap
Quantity: 200 gms
Price: 800 Rupees

This soap can be purchased online from Makari website.

About Makari Clarifying Exfoliating Soap:
Thanks to its natural properties, this Triple action soap helps provide you with the complexion you aspire to. The soap offers an ideal treatment to prepare the skin for the enhanced effectiveness of the entire range of Makari de Suisse Skin Clarifying products.

Skin Type & Usage Instructions:
Suitable for all skin types. Use daily in the bath or shower. For maximum effect of the soaps whitening properties please keep lather on for at least 5 minutes.

My experience with the product:

The first thing i noticed about this soap was its shape and how cute and small it is. The shape is same as the benzene ring structure - Hexagonal - something which I could relate to very quickly as I studied chemistry.
I loved the smell of this soap.
The soap lathers up very well. I dont use this soap directly on my face. I lather it up on my wet hands and then use the lather on my face.
The granules on the soap can be a bit harsh on the face.
I did experiment by keeping the lather on my face for a while before washing it off - but it made no difference.
The soap does a good job of exfoliating my skin.
It does improve the skin texture a bit - making it soft and supple.
The only thing I am a bit skeptical about this product is THE PRICE - its a bit too high for a soap!!

Love it or chuck it ?
I would not buy this soap because of its exorbitant price !

Please note: The product was sent by the company's PR for consideration.
