I admit I don't pay attention to my feet at all - they are the most neglected part of my body - They bear the burnt of daily train travelling where "N" number of people stomp over my foot - Yups the trauma of travelling in locals during peak hours. 

Although I don't suffer from cracked heels - Yet ! but I do have very dry skin hence my feet and specially heels appear dry and cracky most of the times. My mom suffers from cracked heels - Big Time !! So after testing this product for a week on my feet, I donated this cream to my mom who regularly applies it every night. Lets see how it fared --

First Look At the Product:

The product comes in a  blue plastic tub like packaging with a screw cap lid. Inside is white colored cream which is neither runny nor too thick in consistency. 

 My Experience with the Product :

The first thing I noticed when I opened up the tub was the smell of the product - the cream chiefly smells of neem and clove .. M not a big fan of this smell but it is not that bothersome and doesnt tend to linger on for long which is fine for me. 

I have applied this cream regularly every night before going to bed. A coined size amount of cream is sufficient for both the feet. The cream spreads easily over the skin and gets soaked in within few minutes.

Still flaunting " Cherry Red" Shade from Lotus Herbals on my toes !!  :D

Regular use of this cream definitely worked on my feet - it moisturized them efficiently and also made my heels soft and smooth. 

I have used this cream after short pedicure sessions at home - the cream gives good results and keeps feet soft and supple throughout the day. 

My mom still uses this cream on daily basis - It has definitely showed results and has filled up her cracked heels. My feet are back to normal state now coz I have stopped applying this cream daily - Guess it's time to start again. 

Love it or Chuck it ? 

Love it !!  I will recommend this cream to anyone who is suffering from dry or cracked heels. This cream will definitely show results in a week's time.

After launching a host of products - Yardley of London has come up with new exciting range of face washes - Wow !! Another new Face wash to try out !! Most of us girls will never tire out trying gazillions of face washes from "N" number of brands - Just to find that perfect one to suit your skin.

So when Yardley of London contacted me to try out their face wash before its launch - I was all geared up !! I started using this face wash the moment it arrived because I am in so much love after using their soaps - I love the subtle fragrances of their products.

So here's my take on the product -

Yardley of London is a traditional British Brand established in 1770 - Their range of products include Fragrances, Bath and Body Luxuries, Skincare and Haircare Products. Yardley of London Newest Addition include their - International range of gentle luxurious face washes.

Product: English Lavender Refreshing Facial Cleanser with Avocado Oil.
               ( For Normal to Dry Skin type ) 
 
Price and Quantity: 70 INR for 50 gms.

For Reference: I have combination skin type.

What the company claims:

This rich nourishing face wash cleanses tenderly and removes makeup and impurities. The nutrient-packed avocado oil supplements the skin’s natural moisture and softness. Leaving it clean, hydrated and delicately fragrant with Yardley’s signature English Lavender.

Usage:

Moisten face and squeeze a small quantity of face wash onto skin. Massage gently over face and neck.wash off and pat dry. 

My Experience with the Product:

I loved the packaging in which the product arrived. A cute lavender box which housed the face wash along with the chocolates to celebrate the launch of the new range of face wash. 

The face wash is conveniently packed in a transparent tube with a flip cap . The flip cap is not loose so the product is quite travel- friendly.  

The face wash is light lavender colored and subtly fragranced with lavender scent. The smell is not over powering which is another thing I like about this face wash. I was so fascinated to see the bubbly lavender colored face wash in the transparent tube.. The visual appeal of the face wash is quite nice. 

The first week I used this face wash as per the directions given on the tube. The next week I got a Facial cleansing tool and I tried using this face wash with the help of the tool - It worked out quite well. 

A pea - sized amount on the brush is enough to properly cleanse the entire face. 

The face wash is soap - free and hence it does not lather like other face washes. It is quite gentle on your skin. 

The face wash did not give me any breakouts or side reactions - Which is a Big thing for me !! I have had bad experiences before  :( 

The face wash cleanses your face effectively and doesn't leave your skin feeling dry after usage. 

This face wash is meant for gentle cleansing - It is not successful in keeping my skin oil- free for hours. Also I tried the face wash meant for normal to dry skin - Maybe the one meant for oily skinned will be better to handle that problem.

I think so far Yardley of London has introduced the "Gentle Range of Face washes".. I am waiting for the launch of  "Deep Cleansing Range" which will work better for my skin tone.

Relax Yourself ! : Oriflame's Swedish Spa Exfoliating Massage Bar.

I had picked up few soaps from Oriflame during my first purchase as a consultant. They were lying safely in my cupboard until I noticed them and took out one to see how they were....

I had never tried a Massage Soap Bar before so this was my first time ....Swedish Spa Exfoliating Massage Bar comes in a transparent packaging bag which houses a baby blue soap with brown scrub granules.

I had reviewed Makari 's Exfoliating Soap Bar long time back - Here. This massage bar, however, is quite different than the Makari one... The massage bar doesn't have too many exfoliating granules making it more skin friendly.

The soap is priced at 89 INR for 100 gms. The soap has a very refreshing smell which tends to linger on for a while. The soap is therapeutic - long, smooth strokes on your body will instantly calm your body down and provide relief from stress.

The granules will mildly scrub away dead skin - revealing fresh and smooth skin with constant regular usage.
The soap lathers well and doesn't dry out your skin. I only wish Oriflame comes up with a range of massage bar soaps with different fragrances.

I would recommend this massage bar soap to anyone who wishes to treat themselves with a spa session at home. This product is an inexpensive alternative to exorbitant spa sessions.

Christmas Gift : L'Occitane Desert Rose Hand Cream.

L'Occitane surprised me by sending over a Christmas present - I was ecstatic - Not only because I have never tried any products from this brand before but also because L'Occitane is way over my budget right now - Having A L'occitane Baby in my vanity meant BLISS !!!!

I received two L'Occitane products wrapped up in a misty green box which was wrapped up by a beige ribbon around it. Inside the box was L'Occitane's Desert Rose Hand Cream and  Delice des Fruits Shower Jelly.  

The first time I picked up to use was the limited edition Desert Rose Hand Cream, mostly because I loved the packaging. The product is sleek and comes in a Bright Bold Patterned Pink tube packaging - SOO CUTE !! You will be surely tempted to buy this !!!

Winter times and constantly washing my hands every hour tends to make them super dry. To top it all, I have a problem of hang nails - which sometimes tends to be very painful if pulled or tampered. 

I needed a proper hand cream with super moisturizing capabilities. I tried other hand creams but they just couldn't do the trick !! I ended up slathering body butter onto my hands and for my nails and cuticle I used Nail butter from Oriflame. The combination of both the product worked just fine.

L’Occitane’s Desert Rose Hand Cream is part of the new Shea Butter collection,Inspired by the colours and scents of Africa. I tried it for two weeks now and the product has bowled me over, it comes out like a dry cream -it's not wet and buttery, and it sinks into the skin very easily without leaving any greasiness.

Most importantly the hand cream, smelled really, really, good. Pretty but subtle and floral - The aroma tends to linger on for quite sometime. It will tempt to keep your hands around the nose all the time. The Shea Butter formula in the cream is fantastic in providing moisturization for hands for a long time. Pea - Size amount is all you need over both hands - Which is amazing !!! The product will last you for a long time.

I will Definitely Recommend this cream - if you’re into lotions that smell like nice things. It makes a perfect product to be kept with you all day long in your hangbag.
